A story of love and jealousy involving two friends, their masters and their love interests. It is the story of Randeep Hooda and Amrita Singh’s son, Sikandar (childhood friends in a hostile neighborhood in Punjab); a budding theatre personality with a large heart for both India and Pakistan. As Sikandar pursues his dream of becoming an actor, he starts to fall in love with Aniqa Chaudhary (daughter of his father's friend Gulzar Chaudhary). In this process he forgets his friend from childhood Mohit i ch Devgan who loves Anika too. The film also stars Feroz Khan and Vatsal Sheth playing the role of Gulzar Chaudhary and his friend Mohit. Sikandar (Randeep Hooda), a popular yet unpopular boy in his village, leads a conflict-ridden life with his father (Vatsal Sheth), his grandfather (Gulzar Chaudhary) and his best friend Mohit (Feroz Khan). Sikandar loses himself in writing poetry while Mohit is obsessed with music. Both are in love with Anika (Amrita Singh), the daughter of Aniqa Chaudhary (Amrita Puri). When Sikandar offers to write a poem for her, she laughs in his face. Infuriated, he writes a play in which Mohit's band performs and Anika is portrayed as seductive and flirtatious. The play wins Anika over, but Mohit gets drunk and insults Sikandar for this act. The two boys leave for college; but when the news reaches their village that Pakistan has attacked India, they part ways. Years later, Sikandar is an aspiring actor who helps the police solve crimes. He also makes a film with Rajat Kapoor (Rajeev Khandelwal), the head of production company Rajkamal Studios. He is supported by Anika, who is now an established actress. During the promotion of the film, Sikandar meets Mohit by accident. The two boys reunite and become close friends again, but both are still in love with Anika.
